𝒀𝒖𝒗𝒓𝒂𝒋'𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒗:
I was awake whole night. As the moon have just landed on my room. I spent my whole night staring at her from a distance. She looks even more beautiful and peaceful in her sleep.
As soon as the sun started rising, I went to Raaj's room. As today was his Roka. I wake up Raaj and started getting ready.
I wore an simple white kurta, set my hair, some perfume and that's it. I was staring at a mirror when Raaj called me from behind.
'Bhaiya it's mine Roka.' He said. A little bit annoyed.
'Yeah ik.' I replied. The same way.
'Than why are you dressed so well? And first of all, why are you in my room.' He asked.
'Why are you so jealous of me? I'm so handsome to handle right?' I said while staring the gorgeous view on my mirror.
'Why are you so self obsessed Bhaiya?' He asked. I didn't replied. Just gave him a one way smile.
'You haven't answered. Why are you here?' He asked again.
'Nehmat is sleeping in my room.' I said.
'What--Whyy?' He said immediately.
'Last night she passed out. So I let her sleep in my room.' I replied casually.
'But you never let anyone enter in your room.' He said in a shock.
'I have to go.' I said and leaved immediately. I have to go to Nehmat,she must be looking gorgeous.
After roaming all around the mansion, I finally found her. She was wearing a light blue coloured dress, her long hair flowing carefully on her waist, her pretty, big brown eyes. She's what I live for.
I stare at her until I capture her image in my heart.
'This girl will be the reason of my death.' I said while silently smiling at her.
'Whatt? Which girl?' A voice came from behind. It was my mom. 'Tell me who it is? I'll show that girl her death.'
'I was just kidding mom.' I said and walked away. As I saw the bride's family entering the hall. After greeting each other, we sat down to do a Tilak ceremony. Naira's mom did Tilak to Raaj. And than other rituals go on.
I saw Kevin entering the mansion. What the hell is he doing here? No one invited him. He didn't even came and greeted anyone. He straight went inside like he's trying to hide. I followed him.
He went to Nehmat. I heard there conversation.
'What are you doing here Kevin?' She asked.
'Leave that. Come with me.' He said. 'I want to tell you something about Akansh.'
'I don't want to know.' She said and started walking.
'Please listen once. What you're thinking is not true.' Kevin said.
'Like I care.' She said with a fake smile on her face and walked away.
I went to him. 'Tell me.' I said.
'What?' He asked.
'About Akansh?' I asked.
'That's our personal matter. You stay out of this.' He said and leaved,which really increased my blood level. Today is a special day for my brother. I don't want to ruin it.
I went to the hall. Gift exchange's ritual have started. And than the chuni ceremony. After taking blessings, the function ended.
The elders were gossiping, while I couldn't find Nehmat. Neither Rahi. I wonder where they are. So I called my manager and asked her to check Rahi's location.
After few minutes, I found the location. And took my car and started following the location with Raaj.
'Why are you doing this?' Raaj asked annoyingly.
'Why are you not doing it?' I said in return. 'Your fiance is in the car too. Aren't you worried?'
'Why should I be?' He said defending himself.
'Because the route they are going is not usually safe for girls.' I said in return.
'You're so possessive.' He said.
'I'm not possessive. I'm protective.' I said. 'They can definitely go wherever they want. But they might have taken the bodyguards with them too.'
And than all of the sudden Raaj asked me a question. 'Do you like Nehmat?' While raising his eyebrows.
A little smile framed on my face.
'So I might take this smile as a yess??' He said in excitement.
I didn't say anything.
'Why don't you confess your feelings to her?' He said. 'I know you're not expressive. I can help you.'
'Really? And how do you know all these things?' I asked him.
'I'm getting married before you. So it's obvious I'm the Prem Shikshak!' He said in return.
'It's Guru not Shikshak Dumbo!' I said while giggling.
'But anyway's.' I said. 'I don't trust you.' I said. Still not able to believe him.
'Give it a chance once. Mr Raaj Mehra's plan's never fails.' He said while wearing a classy googles.
'Can you stop copying me?' I said in disgust.
'No. Never.' He said with a giggle.
He told me the ways to impress her. And I finally agreed with him.
I noticed a car that belongs to me. The car was stopped at some random road. I immediately stepped out of my car and knocked at the car window.
'Bhaiya? What are you doing here?' Rahi asked in a shock. Naira was with her.
'Where is Nehmat? Did she came with you?' I asked in a hurry.
'Yes. She was feeling nauseous. So she went out to get some fresh air.' She said.
'Why did you leaved her alone?' I said in anger. And started looking here and there.
She was sitting in a chair. Her eyes closed. The cold wind passes away. I signed in relief as she was okay.
I went near her. Sat beside her. She didn't even noticed. So I coughed a little trying to gain her attention.
'Mr Yuvraj? What are you doing here?' She asked. Still in a shock.
I smiled. 'Whenever I'm, you're there.'
'Whattt??' She said.
'I mean-- Whenever you're, I'm there too' I exclaimed. My words trembling.
'Okay.' She said. I can hear her smiling.
Raaj was looking at us from a far. Laughing hardly seeing my situation. He even gathered everyone which make me more nervous.
'Do you want to say something?' Nehmat asked.
'Yess.' I said. And started thinking a line which Raaj told me.
'I can burn you for the world.' I said with a little smile.
'Whattt?? What is wrong with you?' She said while laughing hardly.
'Noo I mean-- I can burn the world for you.' I said. Cursing myself for being this much clumsy. But atleast that made her laugh, so I smiled at her.
I looked towards Raaj and gave him a sign to leave immediately. Than I heard a laugh which seemed like a man. So I looked towards Nehmat.
'How can you laugh so manly Nehmat?' I asked her. Than a man appeared from behind. It was Kevin. I punched the chair silently.
'What are you doing here?' I asked him.
'I'm here only. I went to arrange water for Nehmat. But what are you doing here?' He said.
'None of your business.' I said.
'But wait a second.' He said. 'Are you trying to propose her?' He continued and started laughing.
I stayed silent. 'Do you really think Nehmat will ever like a guy like you?'
Still silent. Because I wanted to see will Nehmat take my stand. But she didn't. She also knew what is between us but still she doesn't say a word.
'Nehmat. Come with me.' I said. Controlling the urge to hit him on the face.
'She won't.' Kevin exclaimed. 'I'm her bestfriend she'll come with me.' He holded her wrist and started walking away.
It hurted me. My chest started paining. For whom I always stand up, for whom I fight with outsiders and even my family. She couldn't even take a stand for me? She couldn't even choose
I walked away angrily. I can't force her, if she loves his company than I'm never going to bother them.
I started my car. And went somewhere. Somewhere far away, where I can free up my mind from her thoughts. My chest feeling heavy. I just want to disappear and never be found.
