'What the hell are you doing here?' I asked in disgust.
'That's what I must be asking you' Raaj replied. 'Why were you not at the party? Everyone were waiting for you.' He continued.
'I was busy' I replied immediately. Still angry on him for ruining my precious moment.
'Yeah busy doing dance!' He said while giggling.
'How long have you been here?' I yelled this time. 'Wait until its my turn!'
'Long enough to witness your beautiful dance!' He replied.
I could see Nehmat getting uncomfortable. She wasn't saying anything but I can see it in her eyes. So I immediately told Raaj to shut up and get back to home.
'You go to home. It's already dark.' I said.
'No. Maa told me to bring you home.' He replied.
'I'll come on my own!' I told him.
'I want to come with you.' He replied.
'Stop acting like a child.' I yelled. And he went.
As soon as he went I looked at Nehmat. She looked very uncomfortable. I won't spare Raaj. I tried to console her.
'Nehmat! I'm really sorry--' I tried to say.
'No it's my fault. It's my mistake. You've appointed me for planning your brother's wedding.' She said. 'I'm sorry for doing this.' She continued.
I can't explain how I felt at that moment. Like someone has put an sword on my heart. I was so hurt that I can't find any words to say. I'm hurt because she is hurt. And I can't see her like this. Never!
'You can do anything with me.' I said silently. 'Slap me. Kill me. Do whatever you want. Just don't do this.'
I didn't knew she took this very seriously. She punched me on my nose. 'Ahhh--' Came out of my mouth. 'Your hands are little yet so strong!'
'Do you want another?' She shouted.
'Would love that!' I replied while rubbing my nose. She didn't punched me again. That mean's she just want's to hurt me and not kill me. So in love with me!
'Are you okay now?' I said. 'Shall we go?'
She tried to get out of the car. 'No.' And waited outside for some auto. I got out too.
'What is this Nehmat? Get inside the car immediately!' I told her.
'No. I can't go with my Boss. It's not professional.' She said. She wasn't even looking at me.
'Okay Nehmat. But it's not safe here. Please come inside.' I tried to convince her. 'Your clothes are also wet. You'll get fever. Please come.' I continued.
She wasn't even listening this time. She started walking away. And I can't leave her alone. So I started following her. I ran towards her, tried to convince her to get inside the car.
But she is stubborn. So I wasn't left any other option than this! I wrapped my arms around her back and behind his knees than lifted with her legs and hold her close to myself.
I can't let her fall down. Otherwise she would kill me. She is giving me a scary look. I almost got scared but acted like I didn't.
Than I started walking towards the car. I asked her to open the car door as my hands were holding her.
'Can you please open the door Nehmat?' I asked her calmly.
'No I won't' she yelled.
'So you want me to hold you forever like this?' I said instantly with a bright smile on my face.
'No I mean--' she tried to say.
'You're shy and romantic at a same time!' I said.
'I mean put me down. I'll get into the car myself.' She said.
'How can I trust you?' I said in return.
Than I saw her cute little face. She was about to lose her patience. So I put her down but hold her hand tightly. To make sure she doesn't run away. I opened the door with other hand, as soon as she went inside I closed the door.
'I'm sorry Nehmat. I didn't wanted to do this but you were not listening to me.' I said while holding both my ears.
She didn't replied. She didn't say a word except this:
'I'm hungry.' She said. Still annoyed. Still not looking at me. So I laughed a bit.
And asked her 'What do you want to have?'
'Something spicy!' She replied immediately.
'That's the reason you're always angry.' I said in a low voice.
'What did you say?' She asked while looking at me with angry eyes.
'I said anger doesn't suit in your eyes. Your eyes are full of love don't let anger overpowered it!'
She didn't say a word. But a little smile formed in her face, which formed on my face too. 'This girl is going to be the reason of my death.' I whispering to myself while looking at her heavenly smile.
Than I took her to a Chinese restaurant. I knew she loved Chinese. Rahi told me. When the food was served she wasn't even looking at me. Her all attention was on eating food. Her eyes started watering due to spicy food, but she didn't stopped.
'Meri Jhalii sie Nehmat!' I said while watching her eat.
Than I went to home after dropping Nehmat. I didn't knew there was a disaster waiting for me.
'Where were you?' A voice echoed before I could take a step inside the house. It was my mom.
'Inayat and Kevin were waiting for you!' She said.
Which I didn't believe. I don't know why but my heart is not ready to accept that she is Inayat.
'I have brought her here. Especially for you Beta' she said. 'You weren't able to forget her, remember?' She continued.
'Maa, why are you--' Rahi tried to say.
'Don't you speak between elders' my mother told to her.
Now I'm suspicious. What if Rahi is saying the truth? My heart knows she is not Inayat. Than why maa is lying to me?
Suddenly my Mr Advait arrived. And said 'Stop this non sense. Let Yuvraj decide who he wants. Rest of you all, get back to your work'.
For the first time in my life, I really appreciate my dad for saving me from this. But I have to find out who is that girl and why she claims to be Inayat? And most importantly why is my mother lying to me?
I woke up early today. That's when I saw something fishy. My mother was in my room holding a bunch of medicines. As soon as I reached there, she got a little scared.
'Yuvraj Beta, you woke up so early today!' She said. Her voice still shaking.
'Yeah. I went for running.' I replied.
'Okay now take these medicines. It will help you calm down your mind.' She said in hurry.
'My mind is calm. I don't want these medicines.' I replied and walked away.
