I entered the mansion with excitement and nervousness. Excited because it's my first time celebrating Karwa Chauth with a family. I haven't experienced that before. I had a family but just for a short time. And nervous because I'm not sure how I look. I've never had such a beautiful dress. The dress is so gorgeous. But me? Not that gorgeous.
I was fixing my earrings and was about to fall down from the stairs. Than some one came and saved me. It was him. Mr Yuvraj. His eyes. My attention straight went to his sparkling green eyes. I've never been able to make eye contact with him. Thatswhy I didn't knew he had such a beautiful eyes. I have an very unhealthy obsession with green eyes.
I was just staring at his eyes. While everyone's staring at us. So I immediately stepped back. I felt so embarrassing. I said thank you to Mr Yuvraj and walked away from him. I went to Rahi and Raaj. They were smiling. And I didn't asked why.
After some time, Rahi's mother came. She looked angry.
'What are you doing here? This is not a party.' Her mother exclaimed.
' What do you want us to do than?' Said Rahi in disgust.
' Go and apply some Henna on your hands. The ladies are sitting on the left' ordered her mother and walked away.
Rahi didn't say anything. She held my hand and went to the ladies. My both the sides ladies were sitting. I have Henna on both my hands. I love the smell of it. I looked outside. It was raining. A pure bliss!
I was searching for Mr Yuvraj. I haven't seen him from a long time. I don't why this happens. My eyes always want to see him but whenever he is around they don't dare to make a eye contact. Weird. Isn't it? I was looking for him. And he was already staring at me. My heart beat increased.
A lady asked, ' Whose name do you want on your Henna?'
I was lost in his eyes. I didn't even care what she was saying. Than suddenly I saw a chandelier falling at him. I immediately yelled 'Mr Yuvraj. Move aside!'
His brother immediately pushed him away. And the chandelier broke down in pieces. Everyone got scared. I signed in relief. But it converted into shock.
' What have you done? Why have you written this name on my hand?' I yelled.
'Because you told me' the lady said.
'No I was just--' I tried to say.
Suddenly Mr Yuvraj and Rahi came. Mr Yuvraj were blushing. While Rahi was laughing so loudly.
' It's okay. It's not a big deal. It was just written in the destiny.' Mr Yuvraj said while smiling lightly.
'What? Destiny?' I exclaimed immediately.
' I mean universe wants us to mar--' Yuvraj tried to say. 'They mean the universe wanted your Henna to be spoiled. It's okay I'll help you wash it.' Said Rahi.
'No it's an bad omen.' Said Yuvraj immediately. ' What if I die?'
' And from when you were afraid of dying?' Said Rahi while giggling.
'Anyways. Let me drop Nehmat home now it's too late' Said Yuvraj.
'I'll also come' Said Rahi and Raaj at a same time.
'I'm not going on a picnic!' Yelled Yuvraj.
Rahi and Raaj got a little bit scared of Yuvraj, so they agreed.
'Bye. Good night bhab-' Raaj was about to say something.
'He was saying good night bhai!' Said Rahi in hurry. 'Good night Nehmat!' She continued and took Raaj with him and leaved.
Now only I and Yuvraj were left. There was a silence for some time while we were walking at the parking. But this silence with him was very peaceful.
'I brought something for you.' Said Yuvraj nervously.
'For me?' I exclaimed.
'Yeah. Let me show you.' He put something put from his pocket.
'May I?' He asked innocently.
It was an beautiful anklet.
'Sure!' I said while giggling.
His hands were shaking while he was tying it in my ankle. So I touched his hand gently to make him calm down.
'Thank you for this. It's so gorgeous!' I said.
'Not more than you!' He whispered.
And I pretended to not listen. I love to annoy him. But he never gets annoyed whenever I'm around.
We reached to the car and he opened the door for me. Trying to impress me? Not possible. I sat inside. He didn't say anything the whole drive. There was so traffic today. Whenever the road jams he looks at me. His eyes were shining brightly in the dark.
'Can you put the window's down?' I asked him.
He immediately did it without saying a word.The moon is shining brightly in the sky. I'm a girl who love's rain, pine tree's, storm's and the moon.
After 40 minutes I finally reached home. There was still too much traffic. He noticed I was struggling to cross the road. So he came out and helped me. It's not that I don't know how to do it, but when I'm at intense traffic my brain stops working. I love those people who understands me even when I don't say.
He hold my hand with one and kept another one on my back. To make sure no one pushes me.
'I would have done that on my own.' I said. 'I'm not that weak--'
'Yes Ma'am. I know. You're capable to do that.'He said.'I just wanted to come and see the other side of the road.' And smiled lightly.
