Finding her!

𝒀𝒖𝒗𝒓𝒂𝒋'𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒗:

'Did you find anything about her?' I asked the investigator.

'I'm confused. I found a girl who looks exactly like her except one thing.' says the man.

'And what's that?' I said eagerly.

'The birth mark. She has a different kind of birthmark. It's strange isn't it?'.

I went silent for few minutes. The investigator continues, ' The girl who looks similar to her studies in a university and is in love with a boy name Akansh, but it seems like he is cheating on her. She barely has any friends thatswhy it's difficult for me to find anything more about her.'

After a long silence I finally said ' I want to meet her'. I reached the university within half an hour. There was crowd all around the university. People were moving in large groups, it was difficult to find her in such a crowd. But I am stubborn, I won't return home until I meet her.

I looked in every groupes, she was no where to be found. Then I remember she doesn't have much friends, that means she must be sitting somewhere alone or with less people's.

Suddenly, I saw a girl, all alone, on her own. She was looking at her phone screen with tears in her eyes. Watching her in tears, hurts in my chest. I don't know why. I've only seen her once.

I wanted to know more about her. Like is she Inayat? About her parents. About her whereabouts. And everything. Everything about her. I told the same to the investigator. But he said there's no clue about her parents. Does it mean she is orphan?

I sat down for a moment. Trying to process everything. I was lost in my thoughts when my phone rang. It was from Rahi. I didn't picked up at once. Because I was not in a state of communicating. After few minutes the phone rang again. So I picked up.

'Helloo.' I said. My voice about to break.

'Bhaiya?' Rahi said. 'Why were you not picking up my phone?'

'Busy.' I replied instantly.

'With whom?' She said. 'That stupid investigator. Right?'

I didn't replied. Because she was right. I spend most of my time with him. Trying to find something about her. And guess what I finally found the clue. I don't know why but I feel I've finally found her. She is it. She is my Inayat.

'Yeah.' I replied silently. After she yelled at me for at least 25 times.

'Did you find anything?' Rahi asked. Her voice calm.

'Yes.' I replied. 'A girl who looks exactly like her.' 'Information suggests she is Nehmat. But I know she is Inayat.'

Rahi signed. I could guess that. 'She's not Bhaiya. Why would she hide her real identity?'

'I don't know.' I said instantly. But her question makes sense. I called the investigator and said. 'Find her background, her friends or anything. Even her childhood. Do it fast.'

'Okay.' He replied. Than he left. But I stayed there. Just in case, she comes back.'

I was thinking about her, when my phone rang again. It was Mom. 'What is it?' I answered. Because she only call's me in urgency.

'Why are you again finding that stupid girl?' Mom yelled. 'She's dead. Can't you accept this simple thing?'

'She's not dead!' I kind of yelled. 'She's not dead.' I told that to myself.

'Okay. Don't go crazy for her. Even if she's alive, she won't recognize you.' She said. 'She was about 4-5 years old.'

'So what?' I tried to say. 'I was also small. Still I remember her na?'

'It's useless talking to you.' Mom said. Tired of me, she cut down the call.

The sun sat down. There was no clue of her. So I went home. Freshen up and asked Raaj to bring drinks on the terrace. This is our ritual. If one of us is sad, we go to terrace, have drinks and talk about it.

'Hiloooo Bhaiya!' Raaj came. Sometime's I avoid this ritual. Because Raaj really just joke's around.

'What's Hiloo?' I asked. My voice sharp.

'That's my way of saying hello.' He explained. 'Leave that. Here's the main thing.' He showed me alcohol.

I didn't replied. He poured it down into a glass. Added some ice.

'Bhaiya.' Raaj said. 'I went to atm for the first time today.'

'So what?' I replied. Almost drunked.

'You told me pin is a secret. No one knows it, right?' He said.

I nodded. 'Yes. Definitely.'

'Than how does atm machine know that my PIN is correct?'

'Ohh' I exclaimed. 'You have a point.'

'Told youu!' He shouted happily.

'I never thought like that!' I said. 'Let's go.' I said and began to walk.

'Yes.' Raaj agreed and started following me. 'But wait---'

'Now whatt??' I said. Frustrated by him.

'Where are we going?'

'To atm.' I answered.

He handed me a black mask. 'Wear this.'

'Why?' I asked.

'So that no one can caught us.' He answered.

'Smartie! Raaj is a smart guy.' I exclaimed.

Than we walked and reached the nearest atm. The road was empty. The watchman wasn't even there.

'How dare youu?' I yelled while looking at the ATM.

'Bhaiya!' He said. 'Be calm. What if the machine is she? She'll get hurt.' Fake tears in his eyes.

'Oh, yes!' I said. 'Gentleman's. We're Gentleman's!'
